Privacy Policy for Fit2Health-O
Last Updated: May 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Fit2Health-O ("the App") handles your personal information and health data. Our core principle is privacy by design: Fit2Health-O does not collect, track, or share your personal data.

1. Data Collection and Usage
Fit2Health-O is designed to act as a local bridge between your Google account and Apple Health.

We do not collect or store your data on any external servers.
We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking software.
All data processing, compression, and syncing happens strictly locally on your iOS device.
2. Apple HealthKit Integration
The App requests permission to read and write data to the Apple Health app (HealthKit) on your device.

Write Access: The App uses write access solely to export the health and fitness metrics you select from Google into your Apple Health database.
Read Access: The App uses read access solely to identify and clean up duplicate entries created by the App itself.
Health data read from or written to HealthKit is never transmitted off your device, sold, or shared with third parties.
3. Google API Services
The App requires you to sign in with your Google account to fetch your health, fitness, and sleep metrics.

The App connects directly to Google's APIs to retrieve this data.
The retrieved data is temporarily held in your device's local memory just long enough to process, compress, and export it to Apple Health. Once the app is closed, this temporary data is cleared.
Fit2Health-O's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Security and Storage
Authentication Tokens: When you log in with Google, the secure authentication tokens required to keep you logged in are stored locally in your device's encrypted Keychain. These tokens never leave your device and can be deleted at any time by signing out within the App.
Because your health data is not stored by us, its security is governed by the built-in security of your iOS device and your Apple Health database.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or health data to outside parties. Your data remains entirely under your control.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect your contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
