This Privacy Policy describes how Time-O ("the App") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application.

Toki-O is designed to be a privacy-conscious application. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or unique device identifiers.

The only type of information the App may collect is:

Location Data: To provide accurate time calculations for certain time domains (e.g., Apparent Solar Time, Local Sidereal Time, Zmanim, Wadokei, Roman Horae) that are dependent on geographic position, the App may request access to your device's location.
This location data is collected only when the App is in use ("When In Use" authorization).
We request a low accuracy level (kilometer accuracy) and filter for significant movement (1km) to minimize power consumption and data precision.
You have the option to manually input a specific latitude and longitude within the App's settings, overriding the device's location services.
This location data is processed locally on your device in real-time to perform time calculations and is not stored persistently by the App or transmitted to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information

The limited location data collected by Toki-O is used solely for the purpose of providing the core functionality of the App:

To calculate and display time systems that require a geographical reference point.
To enhance the accuracy and relevance of time domain displays based on your chosen or current location.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Toki-O does not share, sell, rent, or trade any of the information it collects with third parties. Since we do not collect PII, there is no personal data to share. Location data, when used, is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted off your device by the App.

4. No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising

Toki-O does not integrate with any third-party analytics services or advertising networks. We do not track your usage patterns for marketing purposes or display in-app advertisements.

5. Data Security

We are committed to protecting the information we handle. Since Toki-O does not collect or store any personal data or transmit location data off your device, the risk of unauthorized access or disclosure of such information is inherently minimized.

6. Your Choices and Control

Location Services: You can enable or disable location services for Toki-O at any time through your device's privacy settings. If you disable location services, time domains requiring location will display a placeholder or default to a fixed location (e.g., Greenwich).
Manual Location: You can choose to manually set a specific latitude and longitude within the App, which will be used instead of your device's location services for relevant time calculations.
7. Children's Privacy

Toki-O is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a user under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
